Mr. Turbo's Technical Advice!
One of the most commonly asked quetions is:
"Why turbo charging?"
People just can not understand why a good carbureted motor with a header, cams, big carbs, a little port work, and even a shot of nitrous if needed, will not keep up with a stock motor and turbo bike.
"Besides, its cheaper to do it the
carbureted way... right?"
When it comes time to get the most horsepower, when you want the most reliable combination, and when you want to have the most drivable bike... turbo charging wins hands down every time!
 Coming April of 2006, a Stage One Turbo-Charger built by the one the oldest and fastest companies in the world of Street Bikes - Mr. Turbo. ZX14.NET will be the sole distributor for these Turbo Kits. Without a baseline Dyno to go by, right now we are estimating the following numbers: The Turbo Charged ZX-14 should put another 60 horsepower to the rear tire. The ZX14.net black 2006 ZX-14 will be the very first ZX-14 to bare this upgrade. The Turbo-Charger kits will be available exclusively here at ZX14.NET.

The Mr. Turbo system was designed for practical everyday use. It is also intended to bolt on to a stock motor/stock chassis and utilize gas station pump fuel. Power delivery is very docile and predictable. The motorcycle will still perform and act as stock with no hindrance from the addition of the turbo system.
While retaining the stock engine compression the turbo also adds back pressure to the engines exhaust, this will aid in making the ZX-14 engine run better/smoother than stock in it is off idle and at lower rpm ranges. Mr. Turbo, turbo systems have been extensively researched and street tested.

Mr. Turbo systems are made of the highest quality materials, and fabrication techniques. Our exhaust systems for instance are bent on computerized/mandrel tube bending machines. Then TIG welded, before being coated by Performance Coatings with their finest high temperature ceramic coating.
A great deal of our parts are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum and 407 stainless steel. All hoses and fittings are tested for their abilities to withstand the high temperatures and pressures of a racing environment. Stainless hardware (bolts, nuts, fasteners, etc.) can be found throughout our systems as well as stainless reinforced exhaust gaskets, hoses and hose clamps. Every effort is made to assure long term reliability.
Our systems are designed so that the average mechanically inclined rider can do it at home, with a few basic tools that they probably already have. Of course, any qualified performance shop or dealership is overqualified to do the work... but their expertise will certainly add value to the installation
STREET SYSTEMS INCLUDE:
- Complete exhaust system-header, wrap around pipe, tail pipe and muffler.
- Turbo charger
- Waste gate
- Intake manifold
- Carburetor and air cleaner assembly.
- Fuel pump and regulator
- Boost gauge.
- Oil lines, fuel hoses, vacuum hoses
- Gaskets, bolts, fasteners, brackets etc.
- Everything needed to have bike up and running. Mr. Turbo fuel injected systems will include billet intake, throttle body, injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, regulator, wiring harness, and computer.
